Coordinator, Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition (MFFC)

Vivian Ortiz serves on the leadership team for Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition (MFFC). MFFC is a grassroots organization that promotes a healthy living, with a focus on access to healthy foods and the promotion of physical activity for all ages. Vivian serves as the Coordinator for MFFC the Let’s Get Healthy, Boston! project. She works with other Mattapan residents, known as Healthy Community Champions, to enhance the mission of MFFC. Originally from El Paso, TX, she moved to Boston in 2009 after attending graduate school in New York City. Vivian just celebrated her 10th anniversary of being car-free.
