Holiday Themed Family Night

Register for this event

An evening for children ages 4-18 and their parents/guardians who are grieving the death of someone close to them.

Pizza and salad will be served, and families can participate in a special holiday craft to remember the person who died while meeting other grieving families in our community.

This grief support group takes place on Saturdays, October 27th – December 15, 2018.  All sessions run from 10-11:30AM. You must be present at the first session to attend this group.

This is a pre-registration form.  You will be contacted by a member of the Grief Support Team to confirm your attendance.

Monthly Caregiver Support Group

Are you feeling overwhelmed with stress at times as you try to manage your loved ones care and your own conflicting feelings of anticipatory grief?

Are you balancing the role of caregiver to a loved one in your life coping with a long term illness?

Our drop in Caregiver Support Group will be a comfortable, relaxing space to release some of the stress you are carrying. Join us for a cup of coffee or tea while finding mutual support from others and learn tools to help you along your journey of caring.

Serving Survivors of Homicide Victims Providers Network Breakfast

The Serving Survivors of Homicide Victims Providers Network is a professional homicide response network for service providers serving families and communities impacted by violence. The network was established to build trust and foster collaboration among service providers, to develop and maintain a clear homicide response process for all families and communities, and to provide a space for service providers to practice self-care and receive guidance and support from their peers.

Yoga For Living With Loss

Yoga for Living with Loss is a 60-minute yoga class that supports grieving as an ongoing process. This gentle yoga class provides the support for body, mind, and spirit in navigating how we live from moment to moment, day to day, with our deep losses. Grief happens as much in our bodies as in our hearts and minds. Yoga for Living with Loss connects us to our bodies so that we can maintain our well-being as we continue to live, and even thrive, while embracing our losses without getting lost. Open to anyone in the community who has experienced the death of someone close.

Yoga class will meet Tuesdays October 9- December 18, 2018, 2018 from 6-7PM.

Fee for 6-week session is $50.00 or $10 Drop In

Can We Talk? Cory Johnson Program for Post-Traumatic Healing @ Roxbury Presbyterian Church  | Boston | Massachusetts | United States

This is a monthly series focused on learning about all the aspects of trauma and how we can connect with and claim healing wisdom. Current mental health understanding for trauma recovery will be presented along with how the healing process is essentially a spiritual one. Dinner will be provided and the evening will continue with a presentation and time for discussion and sharing. Child care is provided.
